We are an Affinity Group in Western Massachusetts working to close the Vermont Yankee nuclear power plant on schedule in March 2012. We are also committed to helping others form Affinity Groups for this purpose.
What is Sundew?
Sundew is named for the plant, a model for who we are. Sundew is a master of a unique kind of invisibility. Walking through a habitat known for sundew, you will often not find it among all the other, larger plants. Then, a trick of the light, and you may catch a glint sparkling low to the ground. Bending close, your eyes will refocus and there will be a sundew, tiny, hugging the ground , red, gold and green,a rosette of delicate stem spokes emanating from its center, each covered with tinier still tendrils poking out, their tips touched with dew-like drops. Then you see another, and another, and standing and stepping back, with eyes re-tuned to recognize it,the dawning realization that not only is sundew present,it is Everywhere.
